An absolute must see! Akira Kurosawa takes you on a fantastic journey into a world where everything is not what it seems. A man is found murdered, and his wife raped, and everyone involved is telling a different version of what happened.
Brilliant how the interrogation scenes are filmed as if you are the interrogator . The actors do an amazing job telling the story, and Kazuo Miyagawa's brilliant cinematography is some of the best shots ever filmed.
The long dolly shots in the woods are genius! And in the end you never truly know what really happened. BRILLIANT!
