In hindsight ''Rashomon'' is a piece of directorial genius. Akira Kurosawa delivers a well paced and gripping drama that bears a very creative style of storytelling. It shows how any event can be manipulated and how dishonest people can be.
The actors deliver great performances and the film delivers on an entertainment factor as well as being an intelligent piece of cinema. ''Rashomon'' is a must see for any film buff as well as any regular moviegoer.
