Review of Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale (2010) by Timothy A — 07 Nov 2010
This one has bad pacing problems, you keep waiting for it to really start then begrudgingly realise that it has, and at the end you're likely to walk out thinking that it took qutie a while before looking at your watch and realising it barely qualifies as feature length (despite what Flixster says the version I saw at a recent festival was closer to 80 minutes than 120).
Still, the mythology is interesting, the creature is genuinely creepy, and you just have to give this one a little extra credit for actually having the balls to exist. If its piqued your interest, you might as well check it out.
