Review of Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale (2010) by Sol H — 16 Nov 2010
A wonderfully fun film with a great concept and surprisingly good production values considering that it's a foreign horror comedy about Father Christmas. Certain aspects of the film feel somewhat strained and the ending is a bit anticlimactic due to the lack of a 'money shot' (you'll know what I mean if you see it), but it's still worthy enough to keep you entertained. It's not hilarious or anything, it's just great fun and certainly one of the better Christmas films out there.
Personal enjoyment: 8/10.
Actual quality as a film: 7/10.
