84% A well crafted movie. Great saturated cinematography and a very original story. I think going in to this film I had the wrong idea about it--Rare Exports is a kind of adult dark fantasy and I was hoping for a more twisted, blood and guts, over the top, thing.
Naked old men with pick-axes is clearly not for children and I was waiting for the film to pull the trigger, so-to-speak, and get outrageous--and it didn't. But it's still good. :(.
