Review of Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale (2010) by David Ray G — 04 Apr 2011
I have to admit that Finnish movies are always quite resourceful and creative, given the fact that they only have a snowy mountain scenery and cold, cold, cold to work with . But who would be more fitting to make a Christmas movie than the Finnish?
And of course, it's quite rewarding. Loved the premise, and it was filled with intriguing characters. I really would have wanted it to have a different ending, but I can't hold that against the rest of the movie. It was creepy, scary but extremely entertaining and funny at the same time. Fitting to watch any time of year!
