The perfect mix of silly and serious, RARE EXPORTS is at times genuinely creepy, though it's always got a twinkle in its eye. It feels like an R-rated Christmas GOONIES, with a little bit of Indiana Jones thrown in for good measure.
I enjoyed myself all the way through, and can't wait to make this a holiday staple alongside A CHRISTMAS STORY, ELF, SILENT NIGHT DEADLY NIGHT, BLACK CHRISTMAS, BAD SANTA, THE MUPPET CHRISTMAS CAROL and more.
