Review of Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale (2010) by Luke B — 11 Dec 2011
Screw rating stars! I say this one gets like, 10, maybe 20. Ahhhh, Finland. And Finnish! All those beautiful kkkk's and yoyo's! And those cheekbones! And that awesome rough, wintry Lapland landscape!
Seriously, besides all of the above, this film is probably one of the most suitable kids films I've ever seen. If you have a child under the age of 10, please sit him/her down and force a viewing. But what about the R rating you say? P-shaw. Fiddlesticks is a great f-word! And really, isn't it time for the truth to come out? Santa is an evil-super-goat-master-child-killer...and instead of a lack of treats when you're naughty, he gives you torture. Who couldn't use a little bit of torture around the holiday season?
