Review of Rangoon (2017) by Shiv N — 25 Feb 2017
The movie had an idea, a concept, It was supported by an excellent cast but it was all for nothing as the direction and storytelling were terrible. The first half is too slow, there are some very charming moments with Kangana but they are few and far between, still at least it was sensible.
The second half the paced picked and the story went down the drain, the makers didn't know if they wanted a comedy or a romance or an action or a nationalist movie, good directors can mix multiple genres, bad ones make them into toxic.
