Review of Rango (2011) by Jeannine O — 24 Jan 2015
A weird film that is slow to start as it focuses on being odd rather than progressing the relatively straightforward plot. However, once you embrace the peculiarities of the style, you begin to enjoy the mix of wacky and seriousness in the Wild West setting.
Colourful animation with a vibrant cast of characters, but rarely funny and long to watch.
