Review of Rango (2011) by Aidan H — 27 Nov 2012
I said it before and I say it now, Pixar is not the only one who can do really good animation movies; the other studios have learned how to create one really good movie and Paramount is another example of that.
Rango is one really good movie because has really great characters, the animation itself is amazing and the most important thing is that the movie has one really good story. There was a time in which Pixar dominated this genre but those days are over.
What I love about these movies is that have something for everyone not only for kids; the stories are more mature and there's always a good message and Rango is all that and more; the movie is the first animation western and it's an homage for those great westerns; in fact there's a character who looks a lot like Clint Eastwood.
In other words a good movie for the whole family.
