Review of Rango (2011) by Antony G — 19 Nov 2014
As the rating points to this isn't quite for a younger audience as it's quite dark & a tad violent. It's certainly one of the best animated films I've seen & I'm talking more about the animation itself.
The CGI is truly breathtaking. The older of its audience will enjoy the homage this movie pays to good old fashioned western movies especially the spaghetti westerns starting a certain Mr Eastwood. Our hero this time is a domesticated lizard parted from his owners during transportation & soon comes face to face to the harsh realities of the desert.
He comes to the rescue of a small community called Dirt as its water supply is dwindling & is mysteriously disappearing.
