I guess if you are from India this film would hold more resonance given your knowledge of India's history but that didn't keep me from enjoying it all the same. It was an engaging film and the watching the actors go from indifferent to impassioned makes for a transformative element thats nice to see in movies.

The motorcycle sequences are a bit odd as they play like a commercial for beer or gum, perfectly silly indeed. It is worth the watch in that it gives a glimpse into a world that we(western people) often don't see in a media form.
