(2007 BAFTA Best Foreign Film Nominee).
This is a coming of age movie which draws parallels between the wrongs committed by the British Raj in the 20s and today's India which is essentially one corrupt scandal after another.
The movie has a playful side but is overly dramatic (and the director is somewhat twisted); nonetheless it succeeds in leaving a lasting impression that will rattle your cage.
Absolutely worth seeing.
