Review of Random Hearts (1999) by Corey N — 12 Jan 2010
This is a solid movie starring Harrison Ford and Kristin Scott Thomas. Basically about a cop's wife and a politician's husband end up dying in a plane crash. The cop was unsure why his wife was on that flight and begins to suspect that she was having a affair with the politician's husband.
While they try and piece this info together they both begin to fall in love with each other. Plus they must deal with the hurt and pain of losing others that they loved and who betrayed them. This movie is sort of a love story with a drama twist.
Director Sydney Pollack does a good job making this story work. Harrison Ford and Kristin Scott Thomas are both great in this. Some may find the story boring or slow at times. But I liked it. Worth a watch.
