Review of Ran (1985) by Steven C — 19 May 2008
Essentially Kurosawa's last Samurai epic it encompasses everything he ever introduced to the genre using King Lear as a template. Again his production is unparalleled in this film, it's a great summarization of his life's work and his artistic quality as an actual artist infused with the filmmaker that he is.
