Review of Ran (1985) by William L — 11 Apr 2009
I have watched this twice now and I admit I got more out of it the second time. Still, this movie ultimately felt hollow to me. There were many impressive moments but I didnt feel anything for the characters.
I assume this is just my reaction to this film since it is so universally praised. I will rewatch it I'm sure and I think that it is going to grow on me.
