"It's not a great film and in some respects it's not even good...".
Award winning movie Ran was over played, It struggled to wrap things up. I should give credit where it's due Ran placed Japanese films into Hollywoods mainstream and inspired other films like 'House of flying Dragons'.
Sadly it was depressing and too Dark for my liking.
