Review of Rampage (2018) by Thedaywalker — 02 May 2018
When a gorilla named George has more personality then any other human character, you know something is wrong. This characters have no depth to them, nothing. The acting of some is just atrocious, whenever Malin Akerman and Jake Lacy were on screen I couldn't help but role my eyes.
Their attempts on comedy were scary at times, but it was funny at times, special with Dwayne Johnson, Jeffrey Dean Morgan embraced so much the role of Negan in The Walking Dead that the director probably just told him to act like Negan.
All that being said, I think the 3rd act was good, I mean, very inconsistent, but I like seeing giant animals destroy stuff, and the scene with George in the end was a bit touching.
