Review of Rampage (2018) by Eric F — 16 Apr 2018
Dwyane "The Rock" Johnson is his usual cheesy and charming self and offers little for the viewer to care about. This time, like so many others, his muscles give excuse for being a former military operative to explain heroic ability.
From the beginning to end, it must be asked why we care. At some point, good story and writing will prevail over the cheap thrill of a gorilla that can giggle and flip people off. Other than its root in a video game, this movie is terrible.
