The movie delivered on what the audience wanted. Great performance from the Rock. The CGI of the monsters is one of the best I ever seen. Action packed from start to finish mixed in with a little bit of humor.
I honestly can't think of how to make this movie even better given the premise of the story. These so called critics gives the movie a bad score because they kept whining about the dialog, character development and plot.
This is a monster Kaiju movie. I don't know what these smartypant wants.
