For those who understand that Kaiju (Giant monster/ robot films) are a genre unto themselves. Which many critics don't want to accept. This film more than delivers and doesn't shy away from pointing out the human cost of such a catastrophe.
If you are wanting to see a great monster movie mashup go see this. If you are wanting to see a Pride and Prejudice style film don't but also don't go expecting such a film. Doing so is much like going to a Mexican restaurant and expecting great sushi.
