Uwe Boll has actually made a movie people don't have to struggle to sit through. Some people might though, since the premise is a man going through a small town gunning down civilians. It's a good movie, some might even say great. Not just when you compared it to his previous works, but in it's own right.

This movie will disturb you, shock you, disgust you, and yet at the same time Boll has proven he has the talent in him to do that, and make you laugh at the same time. Not to reveal the scene, but one will put you on the edge of your seat, then make you laugh in the same three minutes. That's the movies most impressive feet; pacing.

Boll has paced this movie to near perfection considering the subject matter we're dealing with. Gun blazing murder, followed by a scene that makes you guilty for chuckling. Everything he placed in front of you in the beginning is relevant, and comes full circle at the ending that was very deliberate, possibly with a sequel that I will see if it ever comes about.

Granted I did sign the petition to have him retire, but if this came out before I signed, I wouldn't have. What else is there left to say? Is it perfect, of course not. Is it a good movie worth watching at least once, hell yes. Uwe Boll proved he can direct, he can make a movie that has impact, even a small one. It might take some time for this film to pick up speed and become a cult hit, but I expect that's exactly what will happen.
