Review of Rampage (2009) by Lance S — 12 Dec 2010
This movie was not good and I can't lie and say that it was. However, I will admit it was mildly entertaining and somewhat comedic, albeit darkly. This movie does serve as a great commentary on our society.
It shows that our stomachs are not turned at the ruthless, relentless, and sickening violence we allow our films to portray in grizzly detail. If these events were reality the masses would be sickened and appalled by the actions of the perpetrator.
The only problem with that logic, the idea of limiting fictionalized violence, is where do we draw the line?
