Review of Rampage (2009) by Chris P — 13 Jan 2011
Well, Uwe Boll never fails to disappoint. Looked and sounded like a cool idea. Too bad the main character looked and sounded like an idiot. His armor was pretty bad ass, and that's the only reason I gave it 1 star. The logic behind the rest of the movie was non-existent.
Not sure how a regular guy comes in possession of a couple of automatic weapons. It's hard enough for someone to obtain a legal semi-automatic firearm. His reasoning behind the killing spree is weak and how there is hardly any police interference is beyond me. Granted they tried to justify this at the beginning of his rampage, but the fact that every radio and news station is blaring out warnings everywhere he goes, you would think that some police somewhere would organize something more then a couple of spare cops here and there to stop this maniac.
In the end there was just no reason to feel for the main character or even to hate him. Every scene just seemed like an unfinished thought. Thanks again Uwe Boll.
