Review of Rampage (2009) by Matt M — 23 Feb 2011
This horrifying glimpse of a social massacre really plays well with its realism, giving believable dialog, reasons to kill, the plan and the preparations and finally the aftermath, all seem well built for a film of this nature.
Some might say it could harm people by giving them ideas for a rampage of their own, but in a way, I can see an underlined theme within. In the way he goes about the town, gunning people down without thinking with logic, resembles that of violent video games, and the controversy surrounding whether violent video games is bad or not.
At least in this films case, they are, and that, is believable.
