Review of Rampage (2009) by Kyle S — 01 Jul 2011
I thought this would be fairly decent after reading a few of the user reviews on here. I was very much wrong. The main character's motives don't go deeper than "I don't like people and there are too many of them", the violence is disturbingly realistic (and not in a good way), Uwe Boll can't hold a camera still to save his life (seriously, Rampage features worse shakycam than The Blair Witch Project), shots are strewn together as if tossed into a blender, and the dialogue is instantly forgettable.
Other reviewers have argued that Rampage is a movie that makes one think, but I ask: What is there to think about in a movie as unsubtle as this one? Useless trash is what this is. Avoid.
