Review of Ramona and Beezus (2010) by Jim W — 24 Feb 2011
I read the first book with my niece and must say that Joey King is perfectly cast as Ramona and is very funny. Selena Gomez (Wizards of Wavery Place) isn't bad as Beezus either.
The grown-ups however, are overly happy, phony and pretty one note. King's lively performance might at least keep you entertained through-out this overly adorable and cheerful movie. Even when Ramona's family might have to sell there house, it's time for a water fight!!!!
