Review of Rambo III (1988) by Davin T — 18 Mar 2008
This film starts so incredibly slow that you might not think it's a Rambo movie that you're watching. With Rambo, the set up is/will be obvious. In this one, his mentor of many years will go on a mission in Afghanistan with or without him.
Naturally, he is captured. Rambo goes after him. That's it. They didn't need to wait an hour before getting to the action. It should have been CLICK CLICK BOOM as the song so famously states.
