Review of Rambo III (1988) by Nikolai E — 12 Jul 2008
Bigger, louder, slicker than its predecessors, it at least lives up to the promise of a big 80's action blockbuster. The political slant is tasteful, the minor characters have some dimension, and there are some memorable standout scenes.
Also, characterizing Afghanistan as the 'next Vietnam' in the year 1988 is just creepy.
