Review of Rambo III (1988) by Jeff B — 22 Apr 2011
More of the over-the-top ( and largely unsatisfying) killing from the second film, but I do like the dubious historical context Rambo is placed in by helping the Mujahideen (where Osama Bin Laden learned to fight and defeat super powers).
And Rambo seems to be more of a 3Dimensional character with a sense of humor and a life beyond destroying towns and small armies in a psychotic rage.
