Review of Rambo III (1988) by Benjamin H — 20 Apr 2009
Three stars for this film simply because Rambo is fighting with the Taliban and the action is so over the top that it makes me laugh to this day. Plus any film with Kurtwood Smith cannot be all bad. Rambo III was the first film I ever snuck into at a theatre and after it was over my friends and I were all wondering why we had bothered.
Wow, even as a child I was a critic. But I digress, this film is cartoonish in nature but that's part of the appeal. Certainly better than the second one and light years ahead of John Rambo, this is great Sunday afternoon entertainment.
