Review of Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985) by Daniel E. M — 07 Oct 2010
Slightly better than the original film, but still could've been better. Now in jail, Rambo is given a chance by the military to redeem himself, and if he does so, he'll become a free man. Not long after trouble and back-stabbing ensues.
Silly, cheesy, and sometimes laughable way too many times to be taken seriously. Julia Nickson makes a good addition to the cast, and there is more action in the first half than in the entire first installment.
But even that can't quite make up for the film's mediocraty.
