Review of Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985) by Robert M — 07 Nov 2008
Its Gung Ho Nonesense abound with this totaly ludicrous, Nostalgic eighties Action Flick with Sly putting only half the effort to First Blood and letting his muscles do the acting instead, with an uncountable number of killings, puns and throw away lines in there for good measure this totaly destroys the True spirit of the Orignal Movie .
Also lacking what made the original good was the fact Rambo was a very mentally fractured man which his country pretty much had turned it's back on him, the original made you think he was Actually a Human Being and not a Cardboard cut out, American Flag waving, Hero.
But anyhow that still does not stop this movie from doing exactly what it says on the Tin, so if you like movies of yesteryear where a Bodycount racked up high, more Explosions than at a demolition site and where dialogue and characterisation does not matter- This is for You!
