Review of Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985) by Marcus W — 15 Jan 2010
Rambo is bought back into service and ordered to "observe but NOT engage" a POW camp. So, you'd expect him to disobey orders, blow shit up and come home. Not exactly. Thanks to the co-writing skills of one James Cameron this film has a wonderfully unpredictable plot and a worthy female heroine - that is until the last half hour when Rambo disobeys orders and blows up most of the jungle, some houses, a Russian helicopter, some jeeps and a bank of computers, while killing lots of bad guys.
Michael Bay probably jacks off to this film.
