Review of Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985) by Conner R — 09 Aug 2010

Much more of an action movie, but it still uses the issue of Vietnam prisoners to make it an insightful and realistic adventure. It's not just about blowing things up, there's a reason it all happens.

I really don't see how this is accused of being over the top, nothing happens that couldn't physically happen in real life. A lot of the credibility does lie with Sylvester Stallone, who always made the character a realistic hero that had a past.

John Rambo continues his mission of making peace with the war and himself by doing all the good he can.
