Review of Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985) by Aj V — 04 May 2014
I just watched this one for the first time in a very long time. And I was actually quite impressed by it this time. I no longer looked at it as just blood and gore and Rambo standing invincibly in front of a hail of bullets.
The action in this movie is non stop and has a constant even flow that is very well paced by its producers. Rambo sombre attitude about things most of the movie acts as a sort of foil to the destruction, death, and violence around him.
Stallone actually plays his role very well with impressive acting abilities. I really felt him playing this role with some passion. There were some pretty classic Rambo moments in this one that I think everyone who sees the movie will remember for a long time.
