Take a close look at ram dass' facial expression on the movie cover. this picture alone will tell you about the lack of fierce grace ram dass has. I knew nothing of ram dass or his life story before seeing this movie.
it seems to me that he is an energy vampire. he feeds off the love and admiration of others. it's obvious that he no longer believes his own spiritual lies and is just going through the motions to save face with his followers.
watch his reaction to hugging others in the movie. he is taking not giving. the message of this film was not the one intended.
