I really enjoyed the first Wreck It Ralph. This one was...ok. I don't want to say that I hated it but, it just didn't seem to have..."it". Maybe I'm just getting tired of Disney. Maybe I'm still pissed at them for what they did to Star Wars after The Last Jedi.
I don't know. But, ever since then, I find myself looking for the hidden messages of feminism or other "woke" messaging that Disney (and other films) are starting to feel it necessary to insert.
This one didn't disappoint and I found my self cringing at a couple of parts of the movie. If you liked the original Wreck It Ralph, I don't think you'll hate this one but, I don't think I would expect the same feel as when you saw the first one.
