Loaded with more references within bigger reach (though the big King Kong one just felt lazy), and a story that, as per Disney's thing these days, may throw its audience a curve ball, this first theatrical sequel in a while for Disney Animation never decreases the value of what the original offered, while really presenting a bigger, more relevant world.
