This movie is OK but the story feels forced at times. I didn't care for the fact that Ralph was made to act much more childlike than the original, presumably so that his friendship with a 9 year old girl wouldn't come off as creepy or pervy.
In the original Ralph made adult like decisions regarding Vanellope's wellfare. Now he hangs out with her every night and they even watch the sunrise together. To keep this from being inappropriate Ralph was dumbed down and almost comes off as a "slow" adult at times.
Besides that I enjoyed the movie and since this isn't an epic Disney franchise I can overlook things like that. See the movie for what it is and you'll probably like it.
