The RT critics overrate this one. It absolutely does not improve on the first film. Instead it retracts the charm of its predecessor. Where the first film had a clever mix of internal and external conflict, classic and modern video game tropes, and echoes of the central themes in the 2 protagonists and the antagonist, Ralph Breaks the Internet just devolves into a simple conflict of what happens when people grow apart.
