Review of Raising Jeffrey Dahmer (2006) by Slick ( — 27 Jun 2008
I should have of known better since I was renting a random movie from Stop and Shop's "Redbox" but I found out the hard way. This movie was, let's say, not so good. Movies about serial killers are appealing. Moives about why serial killers are serial killers is slightly more appealing. Apparently I have been misled.
The acting in this movie was laughable, especially the role of Dahmer's father, who is unfortunately the main character. The most annoying part though is the teasing. A lot of things are suggested in the movie about Dahmer's past but we either don't find out if their are true or not or we don't learn anything more about them at all. The flashbacks could have been really interesting but instead they were blurry, the audio was weird and they were brief.
The ending is also lame.
