Review of Raising Helen (2004) by Movie K — 07 May 2009
Quite alright movie but it is abit too long. Kate Hudson as usual her lovely self. Joan Cusack is good. Kate is a single successful fashion assistant and one day she become the guardian of her 3 niece and nephew as instructed by her sister's will.
Slowly the troubles and hassels surfaced and lost her job. And slowly comes to terms with what she have to face and after lettingthem go over to Joan, she find out she couldn't live without them. Happy living together in the end.
Really depicts the sacrifices to be made by a woman. It is hard to balance work, life and family but if you put your heart to it, a balance definately can be achieve.
