Review of Raising Arizona (1987) by Jennifer H — 11 Nov 2009
Criminal falls in love with policewoman, marries, unable to have kids, local millionaire has quintuplets, couple plan to steal one.
As good as anything the Coen Brothers have done with the usual quirky, unhinged characters & over the top action.
Brilliant cast & dialogue (All the usual Coen cast are almost here) & the film is never short of laughs as it goes along.
It's a shame to see Nicolas Cage could act back then rather than just playing himself in every film he does nowadays.
