Review of Raising Arizona (1987) by Brett A — 22 Feb 2010

So delightfully goofy that I couldn't keep a smirk off my face for more than 2 minutes at a time. In terms of the Coens work it's definitely on the lower rungs... it's really more "amusing" than it is "funny" as a wise man named Aaron once wrote.

I feel like if it's tone were darker like some of their later work it could've easily been a classic Coen comedy.
