Review of Raising Arizona (1987) by Jim C — 22 May 2010
While No Country may arguably be the Coen's crowning achievement, this is without a doubt my personal favorite. Hilarious dialogue that only the Coen's can craft create a hilarious story of child abduction and a couple's desire to start a family.
Add in Cage not sucking, and John Goodman; who I don't think knows how to deliver a bad performance, and you got one of those movies, like Lebowski or Oh, Brother, that you can watch again and again regardless of one's mood or pretentious snobbery.
