Review of Raising Arizona (1987) by Kyle S — 16 May 2011
A sweet and silly send-up; none-too Coenized to be digestable ... a perfect introduction to the Coen canon. It's like the cluttered kitchen at your Grandma's in Phoenix (you know, THAT one) - tacky, cluttered, zany, full-of-heart roadside Americana, through and through.
It's just a ball.
