Hilary Duff has a beautiful voice and wants to go to america to go into an academy to win a scolarship. but her dad wont let her go. but when her brother dies, she feels she need to go as he would have wanted he to.
so her auntie tells her dad she coming to stay with her for a while but really she goes to the academy. she doesnt win but in the end her dad comes to see her and thinks she is AMAZING. Really sweet movie! Good for teenagers I think.
