Review of Rain Man (1988) by Cristóbal S — 18 Jul 2016
Watching this after many many years, I noticed the 1980s "score" by Hans Zimmer which reminded me of the 48 Hours movies, and the period appropriate electronics were also amusing. Las Vegas has certainly changed since 1988! This viewing was with a young man who was born 14 years after this movie came out and he really liked it. The acting is classic, the depiction of psychology and autism is accurate--they've come a long way since then. It was "Best Picture" back then but I can only give it a 4-**** rating.
Two stops on the road trip to pick-up some Kleenex tissue!
